Coast to Coast is a Canadian training company that specializes in delivering high-quality, effective training solutions to businesses and organizations across the country. In December 2022, a Coast to Coast trainer had the opportunity to travel to Red Earth Creek, Alberta to train local employees on how to use a newly installed point-of-sale system. Red Earth Creek is a hamlet in northern Alberta with a population of 1600 residents, many of whom speak Northern Plains Cree dialect.

The trainer arrived at the Edmonton airport and braved the winter weather to make the 7-hour drive to Red Earth Creek on snow-covered roads. Upon arrival, he was greeted warmly by the local business owners who offered him a place to stay for a week in their comfortable home. During his stay, the trainer enjoyed delicious home-cooked meals and the occasional visit to the local Pizza Hut in the Red Earth Creek community.

The trainer spent the week training local employees on the new point-of-sale system, sharing his knowledge and expertise to help them serve customers effectively. The residents of Red Earth Creek were very welcoming and made the trainer feel at home during his stay.
